BlindAI API is a secure platform providing AI APIs for developers working on sensitive data. Our goal is to empower developers with APIs with state-of-the-art AI models, like Whisper for speech recognition, without having to worry about managing infrastructure, privacy, or security.
Developers can use our Python library to have data analyzed by AI models hosted on our secure platform, without ever exposing their data to us or our Cloud Provider (Azure), thanks to the use of secure enclaves (Intel SGX).
Secure enclaves enable sensitive data to be sent to third parties without ever having to show data in clear to them thanks to the use of secure hardware.
WHO IS BLINDAI API FOR ?
BlindAI API is for developers who want to infuse cutting-edge AI into their apps without having to be security or AI experts.
Our APIs make it easy to leverage those models as they are fully managed on our side, but developers don’t have to trust us with their data thanks to the end-to-end encryption in place.
With BlindAI API it becomes easy to create apps like medical notes transcription, automatics Zoom summarisation, or call center analysis, without having to worry about security or privacy issues.
HOW IS BLINDAI API ENCRYPTION DIFFERENT FROM OTHER APIs ?
You might find other AI APIs available online. Those companies might put in place encryption in transit or at rest, but the companies running those APIs end up decrypting your data to apply their model.
This means they eventually see all data you send to them, could leverage it for their interest, or get your data compromised without your knowledge!
BlindAI API uses cutting-edge encryption mechanisms with secure enclaves so that even our admins cannot see the data sent to our AI models, and therefore cannot compromise our users' data.

WHAT ARE SECURE ENCLAVES ?
Secure enclaves, also called Trusted Execution Environments, are hardware-based secure environments to analyze sensitive data.
Such data is analyzed in isolated/encrypted environments so that the service provider, us in the case of BlindAI API, cannot see the data in clear of their users.
Remote attestation also allows verifying that a remote server uses secure enclaves with the right code. This verification mechanism is done on the client side with our SDKs.
WHERE IS DATA STORED ?
Data is not stored as we provide a fully stateless API that simply performs transcription and removes data from memory afterward.
